Its role on client implementation projects is to ensure that its people fully engage with the new business systems so that the organisation achieves the maximum return on investment.
Job description - ERP Consultant
In this Graduate Technology Consultant role in London, you will work on client projects with a focus on adoption of new software and processes for a wide variety of industries in the UK and globally.
You will work on major implementations of enterprise-wide, cutting-edge, IT systems projects.You will work with client project teams to identify business processes, user roles, and appropriate change and IT training strategies and develop bespoke training materials to support Go-Live and beyond.
All the work you do will be bespoke to the client, providing new challenges and areas of interest on each project.
You will work with their talented team of Consultants on various client projects for a range of industry sectors (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, Charities, Retail, Life Sciences, Public Sector, Media, and Professional Services) on various business systems and ERP solutions.
Key responsibilities - ERP Consultant:
- In this Technology Consultant job in London, you'll be involved in:_
- You will learn and digest new system functionality and business processes, translating these into a language that an enduser will understand to bring about change
- You will conduct meetings with clients to understand their business processes and system information that should be captured into training materials
- You will author and produce an array of documentation (so written skills are imperative in the role).
The types of material you would produce includes:
Quick cards, Presentations, Lesson Plans, Reference guides, Video scripts, eLearning scripts, and other learning tools
- You will deliver classroom training, presentations, and possibly record videos and eLearning
- You will provide atdesk support to endusers once their system has been implemented
Job requirements - ERP Consultant
- At least a 2:1 or above from university
- Have some commercial exposure ideally within a clientfacing role or within tech/consulting
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Have the ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Have the ability to absorb detailed information quickly and effectively and have a business/process focus
- Have a people focus and be able to work effectively and confidently with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Be prepared to occasionally travel around the UK and Overseas
