The Role
Deckers is hiring for a talented and passionate Lead UI Developer responsible for web-based user interface development.

The Lead UI Developer will work with the web development team, marketing and design teams to deliver higher quality user experiences tocustomers shopping on our E-commerce websites.

Your Impact:

The UI Developer operates as a member of an Agile development team
Responsible for delivering on time, with higher quality
Deliverables include responsive web pages, graphics, multimedia, web components
Keeps performance inmind while developing practical but innovative UI
Develop responsive web pages, content templates, graphics, multimedia, and web components.
Work with business units on requirements and design of all creative assets to be develiverd by the Creative development team.
Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high quality development technique, supervise and contract developers.
Review Site Performance data for the brands and monitor all pages built for performance
Review ADA compliance data for brands

Who You Are

An excellent communicator and collaborator with partners across the business
Understands best practices and able to inform and educate the team as necessary
A passionate and selfguided thinker

We would Love to Hear from People with:

Excellent experience with front-end developer stack: HTML5, CSS (SASS), Javascript (jQuery), Bootstrap
Thorough understanding of UX and UI (the differences, the overlap)
Experience guiding and developing a team
