Yard Operative

Salary:
£10.71 per hour plus Veolia benefits

Hours:40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:00 till 16:00

Location:
Thamesmead. SE28 0AN

What you'll be doing;

Quality control on the clients Dry Mixed Recycling loads (DMR)
Sweeping up the yard and maintaining site cleanliness
Litter picking of site as and when needed
General yard maintenance such as weeding grass cutting, painting
Sorting and moving waste streams as and when required
Traffic control / Advising general public of correct bays/methods to ensure materials go into the correct bins
Maintaining Health & Safety standards of site
Any other request from the management team

What we're looking for;

Waste management experience would be advantageous
Good communication skills
Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and customer orientated
Drives health and safety culture
