Description
Manage the product development and performance of the Advertising Products portfolio, to achieve revenue and product growth targets.

This includes the day-to-day monitoring of RICS key sites RICS Recruit and Find a Surveyor, and development and delivery of business-critical functionality and new products.


Key Achievements & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate issue resolution for each product in conjunction with Technical Lead and Support team, liaising with the Product Manager for Advertising Products to ensure products deliver the best customer experience and service
  • Monitor site traffic and usage through integrated reporting tools and produce periodic reports for stakeholder circulation
  • Manage the product backlog of maintenance, improvements and new features for development, prioritising activities according to impact on revenue, user experience, stakeholder resources and other products
  • Liaise with third party technology partners as required to ensure continued development and maintenance
  • Deputise and attend meetings in the absence of Product Manager
  • Work with Product Manager to successfully deliver product pipeline
  • Use own research and execute user surveys to contribute to identification of future product extensions and for new product development ideas to add to improve the user journey and conversions for the Advertising Product portfolio
  • Conduct usability testing and collect customer feedback including telephone research and onsite visits as required
  • Gather and analyse data from Google, Adobe, and site backend reporting to identify development opportunities and gauge success of new features.
  • Be a product advocate for the product portfolio in all communications with internal and external stakeholders and customers
  • Oversee experiments within both live and test environments to identify improvements to the product
  • Oversee testing of new features and maintenance fixes
  • Support the Customer Services teams with queries on releases of new features or content to ensure that requests for help are dealt with effectively and efficiently
  • Train the Customer Services and external sales agency teams to use the products (both frontend and backend) so that they can offer more effective and efficient firstline support to customers and clients

Experience Required

  • Experience of developing commercial products
  • Understanding of digital advertising technology, including ad manager platforms and analytics software
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Understanding of technology and innovation, ensuring aware of latest technology advancements
  • Ability to represent the customer within the development process
  • Ability to monitor, report and improve product performance to stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Agile approach and ability to deliver quality results with multiple priorities
  • Market research and customer insight experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment/commercial acumen
  • Experience of advertisingbased products and services
  • Experience of sales supplier management
  • Proven ability to build successful and productive working relationship with industry professionals and other stakeholders
  • An outgoing personality, goal oriented and a cando attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
