Would you like to join us in supporting Young People effected by drug and alcohol issues to improve their health and wellbeing?
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Practitioner to work within the Young Person's Service, Via: Subwize Team, based in Barking and Dagenham.
This exciting and rewarding role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within the Young Person's element of an over-arching Integrated Substance Misuse Service.
Subwize Young Persons Service is a vibrant, creative, and passionate service which consists of schools and community, Hidden Harm work and criminal justice team.
The main purpose of this role is:
- To deliver age-appropriate excellent drug and alcohol services as well as wellbeing services to young people & young adults aged This includes one to one key working sessions and group work.
- Deliver early intervention and prevention work, in a variety of youth settings to prevent young people from engaging in substance misusing and risktaking behaviours and enable young people to develop boundaries, emotional resilience and selfesteem.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles.
The core hours of this role will be Monday - Friday 9am until 5pm (with flexibility available) and there may be some occasional out of hours work which would be considered on a rota basis.

- The Vibe, Becontree Ave, Dagenham RM8 2UT_ (Young Person's Team office base).
