REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in an executive position within SEND for children and young people with learning disabilities and autism
A proven track record in ensuring high quality standards
Experience with overseeing multiple sites

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a reputable provider which specialises in education for children and young people with learning disabilities and additional needs.

They are well-established within the sector and are looking to recruit an experiencedHead of Education to oversee their sites in Doncaster and Wakefield.


THE ROLE

As Head of Education, you will be responsible for a Specialist College with two sites for 19-25-year-olds, and a school for 11-18-year-olds.

You will have a headteacher and a principal reporting into you and you will report directly to the CEO.

In the role, you will be responsible for overseeing the progress of these sites and will be involved in the process of taking one of the sites through DFE registration.

You will take on responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the sites and offer strategicinsights to assist in the business' long-term plans.


THE CANDIDATE
The position requires somebody who is motivated and enthusiastic about providing a great educational service to the individuals supported.

You will be confident and positive in your approach, as well as being a source of knowledge and support to those reportinginto you.


INTERVIEW PROCESS

The interview process will be an informal phone call followed by a formal interview with the CEO and another director.
