We're working exclusively with Carnegie Care Ltd and their Residential Care Home and Day Care Centre, Elizabeth House. Together, we're looking for a new Team Leader

Elizabeth House provides a warm and compassionate care experience for up-to 17 residents with views across farmlands and countryside.

The atmosphere of the home is calm and relaxed; we're proud of our team and the person-centred care they provide our residents with commitment to meaningful, personalised care and activities.

  • Registered Care Manager (responsible for Elizabeth House and sister property, Notwen House)

  • Carers x 14 (including 2 full time Day Centre carers)

We employ a full-time, supernumerary Team Leader to provide support and sickness/absence cover to our Team Leaders and Managers._

The Role_


Reporting to the Deputy Manager, our Team Leaders supervise a continuous high level of care for residents by taking responsibility for daily operations within the Care Home.

Our colleagues are friendly, courteous, and provide person-centered care for our residents, and our Team Leaders help supervise and oversee our provision.

Our Team Leaders build strong relationships with residents and their families; residents are treated with respect and dignity and provided the tools to live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities include:_

  • Striving to improve/enhance the level of care and quality of life for our residents
  • Supervising our Carers and coordinating the daily activities of residents
  • Undertake direct care to residents as required and administer medicines to relevant residents
  • Ensure all carers contribute to the efficient running of the home and creation of an atmosphere in the best interests of the residents
  • Maintain a good understanding of and adhere to the home's policies and procedures
  • Assist with the induction training for all new staff giving help, advice and support
  • Maintain and continually improve upon professional knowledge and competencies

About You


Ideally, you will have an SVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent) and a background in person-centered care planning / delivery.

This could be the next natural step for a senior carer or someone with a brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to lead others.
