East and North Hertfordshire Overnight Service are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive.

You will be working alongside our trained nursing and therapy staff assisting them in the day to day care and management of our patients to ensure they receive safe, high quality nursing care.

As a health care assistant, you will work alongside our Registered Nurses,. We work to provide evidence based nursing care to patients in their own homes. Our service operates 10pm - 8am 365 days a year. We offer flexible working patterns and are happy to consider full or part time applicants.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Working closely with members of the overnight service providing clinical care to patients in their own
home as part of the Integrated Community care Team (ICT).
The service offers an on call service overnight, where the Band 3 HCA will support the registered nurse
with assessments and treatments. This includes

Personal care, hygiene, uncomplicated nursing procedures, simple diagnostics, and basic wound

care.

To undertake administration and clerical tasks associated with care process including record

keeping and use of the computer.

Word versions of documents are available if needed to allow for any adaptations to be made i.e. font, colour, background, convert to Read Aloud.
