Job objectives and responsibilities

To provide an effective and efficient financial administration service to the Centre
Main duties
- Provide a financial administrative service that meets the needs of the Centre in line with contractual and company standards.
- Administer all aspects of resident accounts in line with contractual and company standards.
- Collate, produce and distribute, as required, financial documents and information, including budgetary information, in a timely manner consistent with company standards of efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with the company Management Accountant to ensure relevant, accurate and timley financial information is reported.
- Create and maintain manual and computer records and files such that records are up to date and information can be accessed readily.
- Ensure all administration for the office (eg. post, stationery, etc) is completed efficiently thus ensuring smooth running of the office at all times.
- Deal with routine enquiries so that an appropriate response is given.
- Maintain comprehensive stocks of all forms and documentation required so that they are available when required.
- Support the wider administrative team, undertaking duties as required, to assist in the smooth running of the Centre.
Person Specification
Essential
- Relevant previous experience in an administrative role handling sensitive and confidential information, including pay
- Clear communicator with a good standard or verbal and written English
- Intermediate or better IT Skills: Proficient and confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Desirable
- Qualifications or accreditation to Level 2 or above: CSE grade 1, GCSE grades 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 or grades A*, A, B, C, intermediate apprenticeship, level 2 NVQ, Award, Certificate or Diploma
- Previous experience of working in a finance administrative support role
