On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a
Facilities Management Assistant for a
6-month long contract based in
Glasgow.


Purpose of the Role

Working alongside the Facilities Management Lead for the Scottish offices to assist with the daily management of the Facilities Services at 177 Bothwell Street, Glasgow and to support with the landlord liaison for the Dundee office.

As a Facilities Management Assistant you will:
  • Ensuring that sufficient first aiders and fire wardens are recruited for the Scottish offices and liaise with the London based H&S team to organise training.
  • Performing regular floor walks to ensure H&S of the offices.
  • Managing the daytoday archiving requests for return of boxes or new boxes being sent off site duties.
  • Raising POs for local services on demand requirements.
  • Supporting the reactive call requests via service now.
  • Sorting and distributing any incoming mail.
  • Sorting any outgoing mail and organising couriers.
  • Distributing smart passes received from London office manage the process for lost or forgotten smart passes for local staff.
  • Managing and upkeeping desk booking tool.
  • Ensuring that the vending spaces are fully stocked each day reorder stock when required.
  • Managing the requirements for onsite parking.
  • Working alongside the London CIB team to organise moves and changes requests for the local Scottish offices.
  • Intermediate level of experience in coordinating similar FM services.
  • H&S certificate i.e., IOSH or an equivalent.
  • Highly personable, wellversed in forming strong and professional relationships.
  • Comfortable delivering services to demanding standards, where the achievement of client satisfaction is of paramount importance excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Competent in managing clients' expectations and managing situations of conflict.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Good written and oral language skills.

This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
