Profile - R&D Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer

Job Role - R&D Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer

To develop new products and support ongoing production.

Look for new technology and leverage current technology to push the boundaries of new & current designs to higher temperatures (185°+).

Circuit design skills are essential and layout skills are preferred.
Developing tests and fault finding to component level is essential. Strong knowledge of IPC and board manufacturing needed.

Duties - R&D Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer

Design circuits for downhole use
Design and Maintain production equipment.
Design and Build various stages of assemblies
Understand electrical wiring and mechanical drawings
Able to use Pulsonix or equivalent
Conduct system evaluations and make appropriate recommendations to modify designs or repair equipment as needed
Identify and recommend system improvements to improve technical performance
Define and execute testing and maintenance procedures for electronics and components
Inspect electronics to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards
Be familiar with a range of hand tools
Test to in house specifications
Timely completion of projects
Manage your own time effectively.
Be involved in continuous improvements
Maintain records of design, build and test
Ensure high Health and safety standards are followed.
Work within an EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area)
