Housekeeping Supervisor

General Manager

Room Attendants

To assist in the smooth running of the Housekeeping Department, supporting departmental team members and General Manager to ensure that all Group and Hotel operational standards are met in line with quality, cleanliness, health and safety and business needs

Operational standards


Ensure that all bedrooms and hotel public areas in the main house, Coach House and all woodland lodges are being cleaned in line with the using the correct method, equipment and chemicals.


Ensure that all bedrooms in the main house and Coach House are presented as per the company standard and returned to reception promptly, ensuring that guest satisfaction is exceeded on all occasions.


Ensure that all public areas in the main house and Coach House and lodges meet company standards at all times.

Ensure that all outside terraces in the main house and the Coach House and lodges are presented as per the company standard at all times

Ensure that the lodges and ALL self-catering property's Hot Tubs are cleaned in accordance with company standards using the correct method, equipment and chemicals


Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported immediately and followed up as required so that all bedrooms and public areas in the main house and Coach House are maintenance free.

Manage all linen for hotel, rooms and events in accordance to business needs

Plan and delivery of periodic cleaning and cleaning schedules on a timely basis and complete records as appropriate.

Act upon all room assessment data to ensure the hotel meets Company expectations.

Have an in-depth knowledge of company regulations and the law regarding

Fire procedures and regulations

Health and Safety

Lost Property

Key Procedures

Ensure that linen stock levels and control of linen in the main house and Coach House are maintained in accordance with business levels


Training & Development

  • Train all Room Attendants in Company/Hotel standards prior to cleaning a guest bedroom.
  • Train and retrain Room Attendants, as required, to meet the operating standards to ensure that guest satisfaction is exceeded on all occasions.
  • All training should be documented on relevant training records provided.

General

  • Set the example in line with company guidelines for uniform and appearance and ensure your team comply with company and hotel standards.
  • Control costs, inline with the hotel and company targets.
  • Attend meetings as required and requested to do so.
  • Carry out other duties as required and at the request of the General Manager or other Senior Manager.

Internal Contacts:


Sales Office Manager, Meeting & Event Executives, Head Chef**:24 room checks have been carried out per room attendant per month.

Periodic cleaning and schedules are followed and recorded as per company standards.

Public areas meet Hotel and company standards at all times.

Training is carried out as required and documented as per company standards.

Financial targets, set by the Senior Management team are achieved e.g. costs per room lets.

Staffing costs are in line with the financial targets.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
Up to £12.00 per hour
