Maternity cover - Volunteer Manager. £22,000-£25,000pa depending on experience.
Are you passionate about working within the charity sector? Do you have any experience managing volunteers? Or perhaps been a volunteer and a manager in separate roles?

We are currently recruiting for a 9 month maternity cover for such a role, based within an amazing organisation.

This charity work with various organisations and other charities up and down the country distributing unused and / or unwanted food to those whoneed it most.

We are looking for someone who can lead the way in recruiting volunteers, running inductions / training days and manage the overall day to day running and organisation of the volunteers.

Your role will include

Volunteer recruitment
Communication and engagement, making sure the volunteers have a happy and positive experience.
Procedures and policies, making sure these are ran effectively.
Organisation, making sure everyone is aware of what is expected of them.

This role is a very rewarding one and offers potential for future roles within the non for profit sector.
We do require a driver for this role, as you will be going to various places (all within the Merseyside area)

Whilst having a background in volunteer management would be the ideal we are also keen to hear from you should you have been a volunteer yourself but perhaps managed in a different role? Any recruitment experience is great? Strong stakeholder and communicationskills are a must.

But most of all you will have worked with or had involvement within the charity sector and be committed to this type of role.

Excellent IT and administration skills would be great too
£22,000pa - £25,000pa pro rata
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
