Stores Person required for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Horsham.

As a Stores Person, your main role and responsibilities would be to carry out the following tasks & duties:

Responsible for receiving and checking material deliveries and equipment deliveries and booking into stock
Checking delivery notes and double checking that material identifications are correct and reporting any problems to the Purchasing Department
To develop Stores Procedures and Requirements needed to achieve an efficient stores function, as required
Project kitting for internal and external built assemblies ensuring kits are in a suitable state for manufacture and shortages are identified and cleared
Assist with the generation of new stores procedure, methods, and flow diagrams for the stores system
Ensure that an adequate supply of materials, and equipment are available at all times
Responsible for maintaining accurate records of material movements and stock control as and when required depending upon location.
Liaise with Production, Purchasing and Production Control

Previous experience of working within a busy stores manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
