Role:
Security Dog Handler / Supervisor

Location:

The majority of work will require travel in and around Yorkshire, but further afield travel will be needed on a less frequent basis to reach our sites across the country.

Shift times:
Weekdays TBA, Weekend shifts will be required between 2 to 3 weekends per month

Pay Rate:
Negotiable on experience

We are looking for an experienced/qualified Security Dog Handler who would like to progress to the next stage in their career to undertake the following duties (in addition to working on Dog Handler shifts):

Operational Visits
Welfare Checks, Onsite Training, Site Inspections & Site Surveys
Office Days & Out of Office Hours Tasks to support the Operations Manager with scheduling, urgent requests for cover and lastminute changes from handlers unable to attend their shifts
Will be required to work day and night shifts. Weekend shifts will be required between 2 to 3 weekends per month
Basic PC & Administration skills for completing Reports & Scheduling
Able and willing to be flexible in response to late changes that occur due to the nature of working within the Security Dog Industry which can be very adhoc
People skills working with handlers, other Supervisors and Head Office staff

Strong Communication Skills

Written and verbal
Valid SIA licence
To possess or be working towards a NASDU Level 2 or equivalent

Start date - As soon as possible (will consider Part-time)
