Protective Care Group was established to provide bespoke and tailor-made support for young people with severe, complex needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviour.

We specialise in providing a level of support that local authorities are often unable to and are looking for kind and caring Support Worker to play an integral part in the delivery of this.

At PCG, the complex care we provide is based up on a kind and person-centred approach, tailored to each young person individually.

Things for you to consider before applying:

Although we advertise our roles in specific areas, you could be asked to work anywhere in the North East. Due to this, you must be comfortable with travelling and working away from home.
A full UK manual driving license is required for all our Support Workers.

Requirements:

Ideally at least 12 months employed experience working with vulnerable young people, but open to considering other relevant and transferable employed or lived experience.
The ability to remain calm and non judgemental whilst working with behaviours and needs such as absconding, self harm, sexualised behaviour, attachment disorder, trauma and criminalisation.
A genuine passion for delivering the highest standard of care to vulnerable individuals.
Sound knowledge of safeguarding policies.
Understanding of CQC and OFSTED regulations and their importance.
A full UK manual driving license and are happy and comfortable travelling for work.
Full right to work in the UK.
