Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client's existing team, providing maintenance in an all-encompassing role to support the Electrical Plant systems and equipment on a Chemical Plant.

The main duties areto ensure and provide that the Electrical aspects of the maintenance plan are executed to schedule and plant downtime caused by breakdowns is minimised.

All of which will be done whilst ensuring delivery of legislative compliance and SHE performance requiredfor a COMAH site.


Knowledge and Experience:


  • Provide preventative and corrective maintenance, including fault finding, to resolve and eliminate equipment problems and malfunctions.
  • Conduct faultfinding activities against electrical systems, working to 415v.
  • Experience with Calibration of Instruments.
  • PAT testing.
  • To support the implementation and commissioning of minor plant improvement projects so that improvements are implemented and handed over in a safe manner.
  • Working knowledge of ATEX and associated BS EN standards associated with equipment installed in a hazardous area.
  • Building and Warehouse maintenance lighting and general maintenance.
  • Training will be provided, and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications:


  • Apprentice trained (minimum).
  • ComEX Certified.
  • 18th Edn wiring regs.
  • IOSH Managing Safety (ideally).
