Salary:
Negotiable + Executive package including bonus and car allowance
Naval Ships leverage expertise in complex engineering programmes and offer the whole spectrum of naval ships, including offshore patrol vessels through to giant aircraft carriers, giving customers the capability to fulfil extensive naval operations.
This is a senior business partnering role - where you will be a key member of the T26 leadership team.
The scope of the role extends across all business activities, enabling decision making across the business.What you'll be doing:
- Driving program financial performance, through working across the Customer & Business stakeholder groups.
- Be accountable for the robustness of the EAC, Change, Risk and Opportunity, and Cash Flow processes.
- Establish operating model with Finance Capability centres, to ensure all Program reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Working with crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure all the requirements of the Defence Reform Act 2014 relating to Single Source Defence Procurement are understood, communicated and delivered in a timely manner to the required quality.
- Delivering all governance requirements, including compliance with Finance Policies Manual and Financial Controls Framework.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of new business propositions. Ensure that business plans are well articulated and robust, have a sound financial basis and that risks and opportunities are properly understood and evaluated.
- Leading and providing direction, coaching to the finance team and other stakeholders to maximise the service levels provided to internal and external customers.
Your skills and experiences:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with significant post qualification experience essential
- Excellent communication and Business Acumen skills
- Large MoD Project / Programme experience within a complex environment
- Significant experience in leading Project Accounting teams
- Experience and technical capability in delivery of large complex programmes
