Page Personnel is delighted to be working with an award winning services business with their recruitment of a Senior Payroll Officer to join their accountancy team on a temp to perm basis.

The role reports into the Financial Controller and works within ateam of 11. The role is based out of the Poole office where flexible working is on offer.


Client Details


Our client is a reputable, award winning services business along the South Coast with their head office based in Poole.

The office is easily commutable with free onsite parking but also on the main public transport routes too.

You will be working closelywith the wider finance team, the HR department and the shared services centre to ensure a smooth payroll is completed in a timely manner.


Description
As the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and collating all payroll data
  • Ensuring new starters, leavers and other changes are correct
  • Preparing payroll journals
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • P11Ds, P45, P60
  • Dealing with pensions information leavers, any changes being raised to the shared service centre

Profile
In order to be considered for the Senior Payroll Officer position, you must:

  • Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
  • Be immediately available or on very short notice
  • Have strong customer service skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively
  • Be able to multitask
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
