Overview

greenwellgleeson are Exclusively recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a successful and Established Company based in Erdington, Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their Accounts Career looking for there next progressive move.

Role Responsibilities will include

  • Day to day administrative support for the Accounts function including the following areas across all companies within the group:
  • Purchase ledger transaction processing and administration
  • Resolving purchase ledger queries and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Sales ledger posting of receipts and allocations
  • Credit Control
  • Support with bank reconciliation
  • Support with month end routines
  • Support with month end data creation
  • Support with other accounts tasks as required
  • Dealing with customer calls and taking telephone payments
  • Good understanding of accounting basics including purchase and sales ledgers
  • Strong eye for detail, good level of numeracy
  • Investigative skill and desire to resolve issues
  • Good communication skills
  • Good administration and time management skills
  • IT competency; particularly with finance systems (Sage), MS Excel and Outlook
