All about the role
Based at our newly acquired Willenhall site, the purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of our steel and products meet the required standards.
Specific tasks will include:
- Control the administration of the quality processes.
- Investigate quality errors.
- Create and implement process documentation that is auditable to the latest ISO standards.
- Collate & inspect certification packs for outgoing materials as well as goods inwards.
- Document inspections.
- Establish good working relationships with relevant internal departments & subcontractors.
- Manage the Non-Conformance procedure and customer returns/credits. Collate evidence and provide sufficient response to all customer requests regarding corrective/preventive actions.
- Undertake sufficient action to help maintain stock integrity, including physical auditing and records maintenance.
- Identify, support and participate in process improvement projects.
- Support Business Improvement and Quality System activities/requirements.

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.
Essential Skills for the role:
- Good analytical, administration and IT skills, proficient in Microsoft & Word.
- Knowledge of document control systems.
- Experience of stock control systems.
- Ideally Knowledge & experience in the Steel industry.
- Motivation & drive to deliver and influence change.
