Stores & Purchasing Coordinator required.

Our client is a well-established and growing provider of equipment and services for the Construction and Rail Plant industries, based in the Alfreton area.


They are seeking a Stores / Purchasing Coordinator to join the team, and be responsible for ordering and managing parts, stock control, arranging packaging and despatch of products.


Stores & Purchasing CoordinatorPosition Overview

  • Raising job numbers for equipment, goods and parts required by plant fitters and managers
  • Raising purchase orders for goods
  • Sourcing quotations from suppliers and sourcing the most cost effective and suitable solutions
  • Arranging the calibration of tools
  • Managing the timescale of incoming deliveries
  • Maintaining a digital records of good ordered and received

Stores & Purchasing CoordinatorPosition Requirements

  • Previous experience within a similar role, or previous plant fitting background
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Previous experience within a Construction or Rail Plant industry
  • Fork Lift Truck license is desirable
  • Based in a commutable distance of Alfreton
  • Good communication skills

Stores & Purchasing CoordinatorPosition Remuneration

  • Salary: £28,000 £32,000
  • Hours 07:30am 16:30am Monday to Friday
  • 23 days holidays plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays
  • Death in service benefit (after 12 months continuous service)
