UKCEH is looking for an experienced People Operations Advisor to join our 600strong team, contributing to scientific discovery and generating the data, insights and solutions that researchers, businesses and governments need to solve complex environmental challenges.

You'll be joining our near 20 strong People team, looking after the full employee life cycle, ensuring that all employee administration is as efficient as possible, whilst providing a professional experience for both the employee and Line Manager.
You will provide support and guidance to Line Managers and Employees so that processes and procedures are followed, and compliance is maintained.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Be the custodian of People data, ensuring its quality and accuracy to enable timely reports to support the decision making process within the business. HR system support Workday:
- Work with the People Team to continue the development of the new business system to deliver our People & payroll services. Complete Workday audits including reviews and improvement of business processes.
For the role of People Operations Advisor, we're looking for somebody who:
- Has a CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent knowledge/skills with sound understanding of employment law.
- Has proven skills in developing People business systems and reports for managing HR services and delivering payroll.
- Has a good understanding of people data analysis and synthesis, to inform process improvement and management decision making.
- Has operational payroll knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrates success in managing an outsourced payroll service and developing HR payroll processes for working in partnership with the payroll services provider.
