Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Hand to join our team.

As a Charge Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a team of construction workers.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and mechanical knowledge.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Train new employees on proper assembly techniques and safety procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues with hand tools or power tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a construction environment
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 8 weeks


Salary:
From £16.00 per hour

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
