Description

As Birmingham moves into the second year of the expanded national Troubled Families Programme, an excellent opportunity has arisen to support its delivery within the city as part of the Think Family team.

The role will include data analysis to identify families eligible for the programme, measuring their progress and confirming where outcomes have been achieved with them.

A significant aspect of the post will be to help understand the effectiveness of interventions within the programme - establishing what is happening, why it is happening and how to further improve our impact, including increasing value for money.

To succeed in this challenging role you will need significant experience of project/programme evaluation, experience of leading data analysis on large and complex datasets, understanding and experience of multi-agency working, and preferably a sound understanding of data sharing and data protection issues between agencies.

You will have very strong IT data analysis skills and be trained in statistics and/or research methods as part of your degree or equivalent qualification.

You will also have an appreciation of the issues faced by families with complex needs in the city.
