Eden Brown Synergy have an exciting new opportunity with Herefordshire Council, for an experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Team.

The fostering social worker role is supported by dedicated duty workers, a training officer and 2 family support workers.

You will work closely with Herefordshire Intensive Placement Support Team to offer carers consultation with a Childrens psychologist and lead therapeutic workers.

Your role will be to supervise and support foster carers. We aim to raise awareness of therapeutic models and PACE with foster carers.


About you:


  • You will have 2 years + experience of working with children
  • You will require knowledge of the latest policy and guidance around childrens social care and Fostering
  • Experience in completing form F assessments.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a head for complexity and be confident in sharing knowledge and ideas

Qualifications:

Qualification in Social Work

Registered with Social Work England.
