About the role.

An opportunity has arisen in the Housing Solutions Service - Gateshead's busy homelessness service - for a permanent, part-time role as a Housing Solutions Assistant.

Reporting to the Housing Solutions Support Officer you will act as a central point for customer enquiries and all referrals into Housing Support Services, including signposting customers to the most appropriate team within the service to meet their needs.

This includes Housing Solutions, Housing Support and Neighbourhood Relations.

You will provide administrative support to meet the needs of Housing Support Service priorities including providing excellent customer service to customers, partners and colleagues.

***We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. It is vital that you can demonstrate that you have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to empathise and help others and can demonstrate competence to work on your own initiative.

It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
