*Your role with us*From Hinkley Point C to the Lower Thames Crossing, we offer specialist advice on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) to the Planning Inspectorate and NSIP developers. By providing expert technical support and regulatory advice on flood risk and coastal change, you'll help to accelerate completion of key infrastructure. Working with key stakeholders and their technical representatives, you'll build trusted working relationships and influence planning decisions to ensure current and future flood risks and coastal change are considered and managed.
*What do I need?
A credible and authoritative expert in flood risk and coastal change, you'll have experience of delivering environmental improvements through others
You will need:
- Technical knowledge of national planning and policy, and environmental regulations such as EIA and Environmental Permitting Regulations
- A good grounding in climate change allowances and adaptation measures, sustainable drainage systems, and flood risk assessment and mitigation measures
- Skills in team work, influencing and communication
- An ability to work flexibly and respond to competing demands in a timepressured environment
- Experience in delivering environmental improvements through others
