My client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Assistant to join their team initially on a 3 month contract. You will be joining a fast paced, media organisation.

Role


To provide financial and accounting assistance to the team - dealing with all matters that arise during the course of production and to provide regular "final cost" information to the Studio team.

Duties

  • Issuing purchase orders as required using the SAP system
  • Ensuring that vendor invoices are properly coded and authorised for payment
  • Liaising with Accounts Payable on all Payables issues dealing with vendor enquiries etc
  • Managing and reconciling expenditure incurred on production credit cards
  • Dealing with T&E expenses for all relevant staff using the Concur system
  • Manage tracking sheet for all SLA contracts
  • Internal Division recharging
  • Supporting Month end close including prepping the actuals/budget/reforecasts to be aligned
  • To be responsible for recording and reporting all 3rd party revenues each month
  • Reconciling all sales invoices
  • Liaison for all client queries including unbilled bookings, internal bookings
  • Client Invoice management including creating new clients and billing (3rd party billing system) as well as debt collection, contract management and changes
  • Manage Resource Utilisation each month
  • Prepare weekly cash flow disbursement list
  • Tracking finance processes across all projects with the team
  • Monthly finance reporting and liaising with key clients

Skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft packages specifically Excel
  • Previous experience in an accounting / finance environment
  • Mathematically competent
