Our client is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team.


Based in the workshop, to work with sales, purchasing and engineering design team, to ensure production is smooth balancing the sometimes competing demands of development projects and production manufacturing.

Communicating any potential issues or delays.
To provide leadership to the workshop employees.


Your main duties will be:

  • Management of personnel (people and culture)
  • Production, planning and other projects
  • Reporting and Process
  • Contribute to the growth of the company throughout continuous
  • Attend Sales meetings
  • Responsible for production planning and end to end manufacturing process
  • Create and deliver a production strategy
  • Develop an efficient and effective production area in line with Key business performance indicators/
  • Become familiar with each stage of the process
- sales, purchasing, fabrication, paint, assembly, stock and dispatch and to improve how each area works together including the flow of information

  • Liaising with workshop & engineering to ensure accurate bills of material.

You must have the following:

  • First hand experience of engineering production methods
  • Welding, fabrication, finishing and assembly.
  • Understanding of the Construction industry
  • A proven track record in production planning and be able to respond to changing priorities.
  • A good leader and be able to motivate others.
  • Good Understanding of lean manufacturing methods
  • Good IT skills all MS office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access as well as some experience of industry standards.
