RM Recruit are working in partnership with our Warwickshire based charity client to recruit a Head of Finance for their team.

This is a key role within the charity will report directly to the CEO.

You will lead and manage the Finance function of the charity as well as overseeing, via effective delegation, a range of operational teams.

The post holder will also provide regular reports to the Board and Trustee Committees and act as the "number one" finance stakeholder in the organisation

The remit of the role will include, but not be limited to:

Strategic financial planning and the delivery of monthly Management Accounts
Regular KPI reporting to Senior Management Team and Board of Directors
Develop and monitor financial procedures and systems to ensure accurate capture of financial information against set standards
Monitor the financial performance of the charity, developing strategies and actions to address any underperformance.
Producing and guiding stakeholders on detailed budgets and forecasts for each business area
Prepare the year end accounts for annual audit in accordance with SORP and completion of annual returns for Charity Commission and liaison with external auditors, the CEO and Board as appropriate.
Line manage and support the finance team on all financial and transactional processes required for production of timely monthly financial reports.
Identification of financial risks and implement appropriate remedial action
Ensure IT systems are best value and fit for purpose.

Sage systems experience is highly desirable as well has hands-on accounting experience in SME environments.

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary:
£50,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
