Description
This exciting service based within the Vulnerability Support Unit of the Police Control Room, will provide the personnel of Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service with access to advice and support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year; when they come into contact with members of the public who may be experiencing mental health issues.
The role will involve 12 hour shift work including a rolling six week pattern of days and nights.We would like to hear from you if:
- You are a registered health or social care mental health professional
- You have good working knowledge of how health and social care services are delivered in a community setting, particularly urgent response services.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have experience of delivering care and working with potentially vulnerable individuals in a range of settings.
- You are happy to work night shifts as part of a 24/7 team
