The role

As an Express Set Down (ESD) Marshall the responsibilities will include flow management of the Express Set Down on the Terminal Forecourt. Ensuring that traffic continues to flow to reduce congestion and maintain the flow of traffic. Alongside undertaking litter picking on ESD ensuring it's free from litter and great first impression.
To patrol all Express Set Down zones assisting/addressing problems that could halt or disrupt the flow of traffic.
Reporting all unattended vehicles as per the agreed process and Standard Operating Procedure
Provide customer assistance and support to all passengers using the ESD and Forecourt
Interact with and offer support to all other areas of the car parks business, including Meet and Greet, Landside Operations, Car Parks Operations team and Terminal Operations team.
Carry out litter picking duties on the ESD when required to ensure the ESD is clean and tidy.
What will make you successful in the role?
Demonstrate good interpersonal and conflict management skills, particularly in challenging situations.
Previous experience of traffic flow management. (Desirable)
Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision being proactive in all traffic management issues.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and in challenging situations.
To be prepared to work flexibly and effectively in all weather conditions and on a rotating shift basis.
Must be a team player
