I am looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work within a Primary School based in
North Shields. The children at this school need someone who welcomes them with a warm and friendly smile, someone who can be flexible and adapt to meeting their needs academically or socially and someone who can make their learning and their school day fun.

You will be a part of a larger team who will do what you can to support colleagues to ensure that learning is taking place every day.

This may be working in a 1:1 capacity or with a small group.

You will be directed by the class teacher and will be able to call on support from other colleagues should you need.

All you need is a positive and can-do attitude and an open mind. Who knows by the end of the week, if you didn't already know you may learn how to calculate and compare the area of irregular and regular rectilinear shapes??

I am really recruiting for this school based on attitude.

As helpful as having existing experience is, this position is more so based on the individual and the impact they have on children.

Our only expectations are that you:

Have grades A-C in Maths, English and Science as a minimum
Have a clear Enhanced DBS for a Child Workforce that must be on the Update Service (if not we can assist)
Are committed and passionate about really wanting to make a difference
