The role of a Cover Supervisor is to confidently supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff.
Hours: 34 hours per week 8.30am-3.30 /4pm on Wednesday and one other evening TBC - 25 min lunch daily
Contract Type:
Permanent Salary Scale - Band C £21,921 -£29,500) This is the actual annual salary and includes SEN allowance.

Manage, support and engage students in all areas of the school environment Support the wellbeing and educational needs of young people with SEN Convey information and knowledge to young people Develop good appropriate relationships with students and colleagues Show sensitivity in listening to young people's situations and the ability to communicate positively and effectively to reach solutions Work successfully both individually and within a team and be able to make informed decisions Be caring and understanding and have a calm assertive approach Actively and proactively look ahead, predicting and preventing barriers to success
