A professional services employerclose to Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Mansfield are looking to hire into a key mixed job involving Payroll and Bookkeeping.They are hiring on either a full-time or part-time basis. Flexible hours, a convenient office location, on-site parking and a friendly working atmosphere is on offer.


Proven payroll and bookkeeping experience is required, ideally from another accountancy firm, but those with experience of dealing with multiple clients in companies will be considered too.

If you have solid experience of using Xero, Sage or Quickbooks,that would be ideal, but IT systems can be taught where required.


OVERVIEW ON THE ROLE:


Salary will of course depend on experience and the firm are determined to keep on open mind on salary, as getting the right person is more important.


The role is predominantly office-based working with potential for some hybrid working in future - Part Time OR Full time.

To a degree, they can shape the role around the right applicant. The jobs would suit someone seeking a stable and long-term position.

This firm would like to take on an all-rounder using online systems like Xero, Sage and Quickbooks.


Responsibilities could include:


  • Processing payroll end to end on varying frequencies, including weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc.
  • General online bookkeeping responsibilities using cloud software (Xero, Sage or Quickbooks)
  • Preparation of VAT returns
