The Process Transformation Leader is a role that sits in the Global Finance Operations area and reports directly to the Head of Global Finance Operations.


You will be leading the discovery, design and execution of specific Process Transformation efforts as well as taking the lead on Finance's business resilience strategy.

Our Process Transformation efforts span across all key Finance operational functions and are multi-jurisdictional.

This will involve working with Finance Senior Leadership and operational process owners to ensure that the resulting processes, workflows and operational structures are in line with Finance's four guiding principles of being globally integrated, effective business partner, efficient and enhancing our control / compliance environment.


Key part of the role is ensuring potential Balance Sheet, P&L, Tax and Capital implications of the Process Transformation efforts are understood, communicated and monitored.


The role will also leverage the expertise available in GFO in terms of Shared Services, Finance Technology and Program Management and as such will work closely with the rest of GFO's Senior Leadership.


Qualifications:


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Evident experience in a senior role in the Financial Services industry, preferably insurance

Proven Finance Transformation thought and execution leadership

Hands-on knowledge of Finance operational processes

Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills

Proven experience with successfully implementing high profile strategic programs, managing multiple projects / deadlines

Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate outside of a direct/matrix reporting organization

Success in change management, and adept at gaining consensus

Demonstrated relationship building and maintenance, facilitation, consensus building and conflict resolution skills, particularly with senior executives

Demonstrated ability to generate cross-group cooperation within or outside an organization and influence change in others

Demonstrated effective communicator across a range of audiences including third party administrators/Vendors

"Big picture" perspective

Stimulating change-oriented thinking and ability to direct major change initiatives to meet the needs of the diverse Operating Units across the Finance organization

Strong planning and organizing skills

Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce
