Overview


A UK business with a multi-site presence is looking to appoint a Business Manager who will directly support the C-Level Executive for the business.

This position is a position that requires both financial and business acumen and as such you will have workedwithin a similar combined position.

**Business Manager

  • About The Role**This position will be reporting into the Managing Director of this growing enterprise. This client boasts an enviable reputation in their market sector. This position has become available with the current incumbent being promoted into a different position.

This Managing Director is looking for an individual that can offer the business an array of skills including P & L knowledge and experience together with a robust individual that has a natural flair for professional communication and administration skills.


  • You will be working within a fast paced business and act as the Managing Director's filter in their absence when travelling of absent from the business. This position offers the individual to undertake a varied but demanding position.
  • You will be take ownership for the facility management to include insurance, rates and asset finance agreements
  • Calendar / diary management for the Executives
  • Research projects, costings,
  • Coordinate executive level internal and external communications
  • Brand management
  • Travel arrangements and management
  • Compilation of the weekly management report and WIP reporting
  • Attend 1st stage interview processed on behalf of the Managing Director

The successful Business Manager will have:

  • Commercial & Legal understanding
  • Experience of project coordination or management
  • Experience of financial literacy and grasp of accounting principles (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
