Join us as a Digital Assistant Product Owner

  • You'll be supporting with the digital delivery of the team through digital experiences, capabilities and releases while working collaboratively to ensure effortless endtoend customer experience
  • We'll look to you to support the delivery of change from vision and inception through to postlive validation and monitoring, making sure the Rooster brand, customer experience and impacts on engagement are considered at every stage
  • It's a chance to develop your existing skills and build working relationships with colleagues, leveraging off best practice across the wider function

What you'll do:


This role will see you supporting the delivery of the team's backlog, prioritising work to maintain completion of sprint goals and tasks, working collaboratively with your cross functional team and stakeholders.

You'll also be supporting the planning, timing and execution of delivery roadmaps and backlog, through aligning the vision, planning, and interdependencies of many teams by providing cross-team management of the delivery of the portfolio.


You'll be working with stakeholders from across the Rooster brand and the bank to gather and collate requirements to feed them into the design process and gather feedback and input on designs.


Day-to-day, you'll also be:

  • Supporting the development of ideas for improvement, or new products and features through ideation techniques
  • Providing support to ensure relevant compliance, conduct, controls and risk policies, procedures and governance processes are followed
  • Contributing to maintain the release train, including plans and estimation, and management of interdependencies
  • Using service and experience design methodologies to design the endtoend service and user experience, ensuring that approaches are fully validated with users
  • Supporting the delivery of a prioritised backlog to improve customer experiences and identifying opportunities to provide insights and impact on digital experiences
  • Ensuring the timely development and release of value through supporting the writing of user stories, prioritising the backlog, as well as managing and coordinating ongoing delivery through stakeholders across the Rooster brand and the bank

The skills you'll need:


You'll have an understanding of technical architecture and the ability to drive and deliver innovative ideas through Agile ways of working, harnessing digital and technological advances that benefit customers.

You'll be purpose-driven and ready to drive a positive change for the bank, taking a holistic view of processes with a view to improve and encouraging others to do the same.

You'll also demonstrate creative and innovative thinking through support and delivery of customer outcomes.


Additionally, you'll need:

  • Expertise in defining user stories and scenarios for future customer experiences
  • Proven ability to adapt to quickly changing environments
  • The ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship your team and stakeholders across multiple functions and at different levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels
  • The ability to relate everyday work to the strategic vision of the feature team with a strong focus on business outcomes
