CNC Turner

£15-£17 per hour (Dependant on experience)


A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join a fast-growing team of Precision Engineers.

As a CNC Turner, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing parts for the Oil, Gas, and Aerospace Industries.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on precision engineering.


Responsibilities:


  • Program, set up, and operate Mazak machines for the production of oneoff components and batch runs.
  • Machine a wide variety of exotic materials, including Inconel, Super Duplex, Titanium, etc.
  • Conduct machining of medium to large components, adhering to the stringent quality standards required by the Oil & Gas and Aerospace Industries.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in operating CNC lathes.
  • Experience in programming using Mazatrol.
  • Ability to turn metals to tight tolerances.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
  • Completion of a timeserved apprenticeship program.

Additional Benefits:

  • Inhouse training courses will be provided during 2023/24. This comprehensive training program will cover programming, setting up, and operating lathes.
  • An opportunity to work on bespoke projects and engage in small batch runs, ensuring a diverse and stimulating work environment.

Salary:
£15.00-£17.00 per hour
