We are a family run commercial insurance broker based in Colwick, Nottingham and are looking for a trainee insurance clerk to join our team.

Experience would be great but not necessary as full training will be given, however the successful applicant must be reliable, have a willingness to learn and a 'can do' attitude, we can teach you the rest

Your duties will include (once trained):

General office duties such as shredding, filing and answering the phone
Being responsible for our personal lines portfolio in respect of new business, renewals and ongoing queries.
Handling small commercial buisness.
Assist in the updating of claims settlement details with a view to handling your own claims

You will be given the opportunity to sit the FIT exam, with the option to advance further if desired.

The Award for the Foundation Insurance Test (FIT) is an introductory-level qualification that helps you develop an understanding of how the insurance market operates.

It covers fundamental risk and insurance principles and procedures, and core personal and commercial insurance products.

Hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. No weekends.
