Reed Accountancy are currently working with a client who are looking to add a Finance Assistant to their team. The role is predominately remote working with the obligation to go into the office 2-3 times per month. The role is on a full-time, permanent basis.
Under the leadership of the Finance Manager, you will support the effective financial management of the business.


Your responsibilities will be:

  • Managing both the Purchase and Sales Ledgers
  • Ensuring that paying in slips/remittances are received and processed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all payments are recorded against the relevant nominal code and the correct VAT code is used
  • Ensure that credit card returns are received and process on time
  • Month end duties
  • Accruals and pre payments

You will need:

  • Experience working with a Sales Ledger (essential)
  • At least 1 year experience working in a Finance environment
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritise workload and to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
