Imperial Professionals is delighted to announce that we are working exclusively with one of our high-profile clients to appoint a new Escalator Engineer.

Working from home you will have full autonomy to carry out services and minor repairs throughout the West Midlands area.


Job Title:
Escalator Engineer


Salary:
Competitive basic + on call + call out rota

Hours:
Full time working Monday to Friday + on call rota

Location:
West Midlands


Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining Escalators parts
  • Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
  • Repairing or replacing Escalators parts
  • Oiling and greasing moving parts
  • Carrying out safety checks
  • Maintaining stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
  • Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lift compliant.
  • The need covers out of hours work on a pro rata basis.
  • The ability to travel
  • Plan and manage workload
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will have:

  • Experience servicing and repairing Escalators.
  • You will be confident to work on your own initiative
  • You will be versatile working on various makes and models of Escalators
  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
  • Full clean driving license
