An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Scan4Safety Team.


To manage and promote the continued development and attainment of key performance indicators and quality objectives through the provision of operational management and strategic information reports to all levels of management on behalf of NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership.


To manage and maintain the All Wales Scan for Safety (S4S) roll out programme and provide daily support for the SupplyX system ensuring functionality is maximised and Common Operating Procedures are managed and adhered to with responsibility for Order Management, Inventory and System Administration.


To assist the Senior Supply Chain Analyst in the achievement of targets in line with the NWSSP Business Plan and Procurement Strategy by the timely provision of accurate reports, KPI's and other unscheduled reports.


Give support and exercise judgement, problem solving and analysis skills in identifying the most appropriate electronic means of ordering to suit customer needs to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved through the SupplyX system.


To manage and interrogate the SupplyX system on trends in customer and staff activity, ensuring accuracy and highlighting any notable changes to the department manager for consideration.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

To train and support SupplyX end users throughout Wales basis in line with Policies and Procedures.

To assist with the implementation and management of a Supply Chain COM ensuring all R&D points are included.

To manage the day to day operation of the S4S system and staff.

To manage and interrogate the SupplyX system on trends in customer and staff activity, ensuring accuracy and highlighting any notable changes to the department manager for consideration.


To be responsible for updating systems, ensuring they are compliant with the departments operating and administrative policies and procedures and performance indicators.


To manage and record daily staff activities and performances highlighting any areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate measures are applied to provide support for any training needs.

To effectively communicate with users/departments regarding the use of the Inventory/Order Management/SupplyX system and recommend process changes where necessary.

To manage PADR's ensuring participation and understanding of all staff.

To manage staff rotas for SupplyX ensuring all wards and departments are adequately covered.

To be responsible for allocating and approving annual leave for staff and maintaining adequate staffing levels

To manage staff sickness in line with the NWSSP Sickness and Absence Policy.


To deliver and manage SupplyX Training programme to all new staff in NWSSP and selected Health boards to defined timescales as part of the project plan.

To manage the SupplyX auditing programme.

To manage throughput information for SupplyX highlighting changes in trend and recommending changes to the Ward
