Our established client has continued in their ambitious growth plans and due to internal promotions, are recruiting a compliance lead to join the busy and growing governance team.

The Compliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the company continues to meet the requirements of its external certifications, including ISO9001, BRC, IFS and HACCP and will play a key role in the successful implementation of ISO14001.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary task develop and maintain management systems to ensure sites are consistently audit ready (Q-Pulse),
Implement effective internal audit and CAPA program,
Maintain SOP and document control system,
Support with training and competency systems,
Working with Extended Leadership team to create and maintain SOPs to ensure every team member can undertake their key tasks in a safe manner and ensure consistent quality / food safety,
Support with implementation and maintenance of certification and customer audits (e.g. ISO standards, BRC),
Maintaining the company's legal compliance registers for Safety, Environment, Food Safety and Quality,
Provide support and guidance for all other functions (at all levels), to continually develop departmental management systems,
Proactively identify and implement opportunities for Safety, Health, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental process improvement, Execute product data customer requests,
Deputise for Compliance Team Leader and/or the Quality Team Leader as required
