Nursery Assistant opportunities will be available, both on a long term basis and short, depending on your availability and suitability to school

The role of a Nursery Assistant is to assist in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young pupils, and collaborate closely with the teaching team to provide seamless support.

Implement creative and age-appropriate activities to make learning fun and enjoyable for little ones. Exceptional communication skills are needed for this role.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of resources and activities
Assist in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young pupils
Implement creative and ageappropriate activities to make learning fun and enjoyable.
Collaborate closely with the Teaching Team to provide seamless support
Encourage childrens development
Maintain toys and play equipment

Essential Requirements

Experience of working with young people.
NVQ Level 2⁄3 Childcare and Education or equivalent
Previous experience working within a Nursery environment
Experience working with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties
Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours
Good Class management skills.
