Nursery Assistant opportunities will be available, both on a long term basis and short, depending on your availability and suitability to school


The role of a Nursery Assistant is to assist in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young pupils, and collaborate closely with the teaching team to provide seamless support.

Implement creative and age-appropriate activities to make learning fun and enjoyable for little ones. Exceptional communication skills are needed for this role.


Responsibilities:



  • Preparation of resources and activities
  • Assist in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young pupils
  • Implement creative and ageappropriate activities to make learning fun and enjoyable.
  • Collaborate closely with the Teaching Team to provide seamless support
  • Encourage childrens development
  • Maintain toys and play equipment
Essential Requirements

  • Experience of working with young people.
  • NVQ Level 2⁄3 Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within a Nursery environment
  • Experience working with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties
  • Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours
  • Good Class management skills.
