Would you be interested in developing your skills working towards becoming a Private Client Administrator or Financial Planning Administrator - based in Edinburgh?


Structure of the Programme:


Aim:
To develop within the role of Private Client Administrators and Financial Planning Administrators based in Edinburgh.


Acquire:

  • Knowledge, skills and experience you will need to deliver excellent service within PCT & Financial Planning and make a significant impact in their career.
  • Experience in working processes, standards as well as outlining the skills & knowledge you need to complete the role successfully.
  • A buddy who will help you settle in and navigate the organisation.
  • Support through the Level 3 CISI Investment Operations Certificate once you have passed your 6 months' probation period. Further study opportunities too
  • Workplace learning opportunities including a Career Management Programme, Culture Hubs and Micromodules on SharePoint.

The Roles:


If you are new to the industry, you may be wondering what is involved in being a Private Client Administrator or Financial Planning Administrator.


We have listed some of the duties below:
Private Client Administrator

  • Supports the Private Client Directors, Associate Directors and Private Client Associate
  • You will be keeping backoffice systems and client databases up to date and accurate, overseeing regular payments, the preparation of paperwork, processing of new business, transfers out/account closures and liaising clients and colleagues
  • You will also assist with queries regarding the client My 7IM Portal
  • Providing cover front of house welcoming Clients as and when required
Financial Planning Administrator

  • Supports the Financial Planners and Paraplanners
  • You will be keeping backoffice systems and client databases up to date and accurate, obtaining information on a client's existing investments and collating this information
  • You will prepare paperwork, processing New Business both internally and with external providers, income withdrawals, contributions
  • You will also assist with queries regarding the client My 7IM Portal
  • Providing cover front of house welcoming Clients as and when required
