The Cash Management team will facilitate the upload of cash positions, including projected cashflows, into Charles River.

The team will undertake income repatriation FX for a group of clients (generally ERISA or ERISA-like) and will also perform FX trades related to cashflows, debit interest, fees, and other cash management purposes.


The FX task will expand over time to encompass the trading of trade related FX and the income repatriation currently undertaken by custodians.

The Cash Management team may also perform Portfolio Implementation related work, particularly order generation/approval and compliance.

  • Management of all projected cash flows within the Charles River system.
  • Responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate loading of cash positions within the Charles River system.
  • Monitoring of projected versus received cash and resolution of any issues which may arise.
  • Ensure cash positions fall within client agreed tolerances at all times.
  • Point of contact within the firm for cashflows after these have been agreed between Client Management/ Client Ops Pooled Funds team and the clients.
  • Creation and execution of FX related to income repatriation (for specific accounts), nonbase currency cash flows and other cash management purposes.
  • Responsible for the request of select restricted currency FX trades from Client Ops Settlements.
  • Responsible for contributing FX and equity analysis to the quarterly TOG papers.
  • To provide holiday/absence cover and support for other team members within Investment Operations as and when required
Any other duties as reasonably requested by management from time to time.
