AWS Architect (AWS Contact Centre)

£500-£525 per day, 12 Month contract, Outside IR35, Fully Remote Working
An International Opensource Consultancy known their continuous Integration platform allowing companies to build, deploy, test and release on demand via their cost-effective platform are seeking a remote AWS Architect to join their international remote workingCloud Transformation Architecture team spanning over UK, Prague, Poland, Russia & Portugal with offices in Dublin, Romania & Ukraine responsible for Enterprise scale Cloud Digital Transformations

Required skills:

In depth knowledge of core AWS services including AWS Contact Centre/AWS connect, AWS design principles, account setup and structure
AWS Lambda, Step Functions & digital transformation experience
Proven experience building end to end solutions in AWS through code
Proven experience with IAC tooling e.g. Terraform, CDK etc
Proven experience driving DevOps best practices
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills#

Desirable skills:

Proven experience assessing client workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmaps
Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from an architecture standpoint
Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.,) and mentor team to build necessary competency
Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders in client organization.
Experience provisioning and spinning up AWS environments in a secure and costeffective manner
Experience building scalable production systems through various approaches immutable infrastructure, containers, serverless etc
Certification on AWS architecture desirable

Key responsibilities & duties include:

Understand and document technical requirements from clients
Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools
Design and work with AWS network architecture including VPC, VPN, DIrect Connect, Transit GW etc
Design the HA / DR strategies
Set up process, services and tools around cloud
Oversee building of the environment and project solution designs
Validate the environment to meet all security and compliance controls
Help share knowledge across the team on the various AWS services
