We are looking for a Property Procurement Team Leader.

This is a permanent vacancy offered on a permanent full-time basis working 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm).

The role involves working from home on a daily basis with daily travel involvedto provide direct support to the property procurement team (frequent travel required).


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


The role requires the Procurement Team Leader to manage the procurement team and follow procedures in order to meet key performance objectives and sales targets of the company.

You will also be responsible for special projects, team structures, managementof team and welfare the team, and also ensure policies are adhered to and key performance objectives are met at all times.


The company is looking for a driven and motivated profession with procurement team leader and housing experience, and someone who has managed a property team in a supervisory or management role.


There are various administration duties with daily meetings and liaising with other members of the team and sharing best practice to support the company in achieving our procurement/sales targets.


You will report into the Head of Property Procurement Services and provide help and support where required and also assist in compiling reports for weekly meetings and updates for the Board of Directors.


The role involves extensive travel and some out of hours work to enable us to provide full coverage across the contract region.


Develop and maintain a direct procurement strategy and process which manages the forecasted caseload and is in line with cluster policy and strategy.


Manage the supply of property through accommodation partners, ensuring adherence to agreed levels and standards and in line with supply chain contracts.


Create & maintain effective partnerships with local authority senior EHO's and other regional stakeholders ensuring compliance with relevant UK legalisation.

Develop and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders

Work with the Head of Property Procurement Services to ensure the portfolio allows maximum efficiency of bed spaces in line with contractual and company requirements

Manage, develop and motivate a high performing and multi-skilled team, to meet and exceed all contractual targets and KPI's

Ensure values, ethical standards, policies and procedures are met.


Manage and report on performance targets and KPI's to ensure the contract is being delivered to company and Authority standards as well as legislative requirements.

Create a culture of continuous improvement and sharing of best practice across the supply chain to optimise service delivery and business excellence

Engender a positive health and safety culture to agreed standards

Ensure property handover & sign off processes and procedures are followed

Ensure CRH portfolio is fully compliant with Local Authority, UKVI all other regulatory body legislation.

Ensure all Local Authority notices received are dealt with in the prescribed manner


To ensure internal audit and compliance criteria are met and that all activities conform to agreed company systems, policies and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:


  • Knowledge and experience in the property sector
  • Understanding of licensing and legislation
  • Proven track record in team management
  • Competence in negotiating, valuing and listing
  • Competence in managing a team to achieve and deliver targets
  • Lettings or property management experience
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own car
